Core and core+ infrastructure assets
Mainly energy, transportation and telecom sectors in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark
€20-50m equity per investment
CapMan Infra’s investment focus is core and core+ infrastructure assets in energy, transportation and telecom, such as energy plants and their distribution networks. We operate in the Nordic countries with our team split between our offices in Helsinki and Stockholm.
Aging infrastructure combined with continuous investment needs in a changing operating environment in our target sectors results in deal flow, to which CapMan Infra can immediately tap into with its hands-on proactive approach. CapMan Infra aims to provide tailored solutions to local asset owners as they face investment funding pressure or are contemplating asset portfolio restructuring.
CapMan Infra held the first closing of its Nordic infrastructure fund with commitments of €115 million. A diverse investor base participated in the first close, including pension funds, foundations, corporations and family offices. Investor appetite for the fund has been strong from both existing and new CapMan investors, and it is expected that support from both local and international investors will continue in future closings.
CapMan Nordic Infrastructure I fund invests predominantly in small to mid-cap core / core+ brownfield infrastructure assets in the energy, transportation and telecommunications sectors across the Nordic countries, through either majority or minority equity investments. CapMan Infra leverages its local Nordic presence, the team’s long experience in infrastructure investments and asset management, as well as its extensive local network in deal sourcing and value creation in its target companies.
