for the Group Accounting and Communications & IR teams.

CapMan’s Group Accounting team is responsible for group’s external and internal financial reporting (IFRS), treasury and market portfolio operations and payroll coordination. CapMan’s Communications team serves the company’s various stakeholder groups by providing information about CapMan’s strategy, operations, objectives, and business environment in a way that gives a true and fair view of CapMan as an investment target and as a partner.

Your tasks will relate to:

  • assisting Group Accounting and Communications & IR teams in quarterly and annual financial reporting (IFRS)
    • preparing of and cross-checking of tables to interim and annual accounts
    • updating of result presentations
  • website maintenance in co-operation with an external service provider
  • acting as a back-up for market portfolio related administration and payroll coordination
  • backing up other core responsibilities of the Group Accounting team, e.g. monthly management reporting
  • backing up Communications Manager with regards to e.g. drafting and sending of stock exchange and press releases etc.

As an ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Sc. degree, preferably majoring in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant work experience of 1-2 years from accounting or IR
  • Finnish as mother tongue, excellent skills in English
  • good understanding of accounting matters
  • systematic way of working and focus on details
  • flexible team player with a positive mindset

CaPS (CapMan Purchasing Scheme) is a service driving down costs on non-strategic products and services for its member companies. The concept is unique among private equity investment managers in the Nordic countries. In your role as a Procurement Analyst you will take part in tendering for new services and categories in Sweden. Your responsibilities include, among others, savings verifications, analysis of categories, preparation of materials, identification of business opportunities based on the tendering process and conducting due diligence in relation to external companies. B2B sales support and organizing events are also a part of your duties; consequently, you will be working closely with CaPS’ member companies. Even though you are an “Analyst”, analysis is only a part of your job and you will gradually take responsibility for tender processes and member companies. CaPS put great value over execution and implementation.
