Controller

 

Your responsibilities include investor and management reporting related to CapMan Group and the private equity and real estate funds under CapMan’s management. Your typical tasks will also include monitoring, analyzing and valuing the portfolio companies, preparation of forecasts on fund performance and return potential, as well as participation in financial planning and preparation of annual/interim closings and budgets for the listed parent company CapMan Plc.

 

 

The ideal candidate is a team player with an exact and thorough way of working, excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate numerical data into verbal and written reports. You will most likely have a university degree in business, economics or finance, and two to five years of relevant work experience, e.g. as a controller or an auditor. Excellent skills in English and Finnish are required; skills in Swedish or Russian are considered an advantage.

Investment Trainee

In CapMan Buyout we are 16 investment professionals in two countries working closely together in cross-border teams, evaluating and executing attractive investment opportunities, and supporting value creation in our portfolio companies through active ownership. CapMan has an outstanding track record in middle market buyout investing.

 

As an Investment Trainee, you will participate in the Buyout funds’ day-to-day operations. You will assist the team in deal flow generation, research and general transactional work. You will also work with existing portfolio companies.

 

You are a finance major undergraduate with about 120 credits completed with outstanding grades. You have a solid understanding of income statement and balance sheet analysis. You have also gained international experience either through work or as part of your studies. You master the use of PowerPoint and Excel and you are practical, energetic, meticulous and a self-driven team player. We expect you to have fluency in Finnish and English. Swedish is regarded as an advantage.

 

The position is part time with flexible working time starting from September 2015.
