CapMan exits Distocraft
Funds managed by CapMan have exited from Finnish company Distocraft Ltd, which provides software products and solutions for telecom operators as world-leading telecom supplier Ericsson has acquired Distocraft’s business. The realisation does not impact on CapMan Plc’s result for 2006, as the exiting funds have not begun to generate carry. The parties will not publish the transaction price.
Distocraft develops telecommunications software products that enable network performance management and service assurance for telecom operators, so that they can optimise their network investments and provide service quality to customers. Distocraft has over 40 employees in Helsinki and Lahti.
”Distocraft has successfully grown its business and established a convincing position in telecommunications markets. Furthermore, the company has been managed extremely well and it’s been a pleasure to be part of the spirited team. This transaction is an honour to the whole company and I wish them all the best now that the endeavour continues in a new exciting setup” states CapMan Partner Vesa Wallden.
CapMan funds CapMan Equity VII and Swedestart Tech invested in Distocraft Ltd in 2003. The investment has been good for investors in CapMan funds.
