Press release - 31 October 2005
CapMan’s website has been revised
CapMan today announced the opening of its newly revised website at the old address www.capman.com. The contents, graphics and functions of the pages have been updated and improved.
The aim of the newly revised website is to provide information about CapMan’s business to different stakeholder groups in a more comprehensive and user-friendly format. Navigation of the website has been updated to better correspond with the current business and the visual design of the site has been improved. The user base of the website includes analysts, private investors, institutions investing in CapMan funds, the funds’ portfolio companies and the media among others.
The revision will enable more efficient maintenance of the website as well as new services for users of the site. For example, information on the funds managed by CapMan and their portfolio companies has been added to the site. The revised website also includes new communications services for investors, and to improve the ease of use for investors some of the information is also available in Excel format. In addition, CapMan’s distribution of stock exchange and press releases has been integrated as a part of the website’s functions.
The revised website was designed by CapMan Communications together with Quartal Content Management Oy, which managed the technical implementation of the site. Quartal Flife delivered the investor relations tools that are used in the web service. The content management of the web service is based on Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 and Windows SharePoint Services software. Quartal Oy is a portfolio company of the funds managed by CapMan.
The contents of the website are continuously updated and supplemented, and in the next few weeks information on funds and portfolio companies in Finnish will also be added to the site, among others. The electronic version of CapMan News stakeholder magazine will also be published on the website later this year.
