CapMan studies the establishment of private equity real estate fund

CapMan Plc is studying the possibilities to establish a Finnish private equity real estate fund and is negotiating with institutional investors. Mr Jukka Iivari, M.Sc. from Corintium Oy acts as advisor to CapMan in this matter.

Indirect investments in real estate have grown strongly and there are approximately 350 unlisted European real estate funds at the moment. In the Nordic countries, corresponding real estate fund activities are at an early stage.

Some American and European private equity investors similar to CapMan have expanded their operations also to private equity real estate funds. The establishment of the real estate fund would be a significant business expansion and strategic step for CapMan.

CapMan Plc will inform the outcome of the negotiations after they have been completed.
