CapMan invests in Swedish Millicore

The Swedish medical technology company Millicore AB has signed an agreement with Swedestart Life Science KB, which is managed/advised by CapMan, and current investors HealthCap and Industrifonden to provide further funding for the company.

The new issue of EUR 3 million (SEK 27 million) will be used to launch the company’s initial product, DigiVent, the market’s first digital disposable chest drainage unit for treatment of lung collapse. Additionally, the investment will fund Millicore’s development of new merging products based on MEMS-technology. These products will set new technological standards within thoracic, vascular, urology and neuro surgery by increasing the ability to monitor and predict treatment outcome in a way not possible today.
