CapMan founds a strong Nordic management and IT consulting firm by integrating three companies

The funds managed/advised by CapMan will strengthen the technology portfolio by integrating their ownership in management consulting company Digiscope and IT consulting company DataVis Gruppen AB (DataVis), and merging them with the IT consulting company Ibitec. These three companies will form a strong Nordic consulting firm, which will provide leading comprehensive management and IT consulting and business solutions. The name of the new firm will be XLENT AB.

In October, the funds managed/advised by CapMan acquired a 44 per cent stake of the shares in DataVis. DataVis is a Swedish IT consulting company that offers qualified solutions within systems development and technology related services. The new name will be XLENT, to be formed when DataVis is integrated with management consulting company Digiscope and IT consulting company Ibitec. The majority of shareholders in XLENT (formerly DataVis) support the merger of the companies that was proposed at the Extraordinary General Meeting of XLENT. CapMan funds will own approx. 39 per cent of XLENT following the merger.

The new firm’s customers include several of the largest companies in the Nordic countries, to whom it will in the future be able to offer advanced comprehensive solutions from strategy planning through implementation. XLENT will have eight offices in Sweden and one in Helsinki, which will enable the further strengthening of existing customer relationships. The firm will have about 250 employees and the current Managing Director of DataVis, Mr Åke Engqvist, will be nominated as Managing Director of the new firm.
