Nominations and new faces at CapMan
CapMan’s Nordic Advisor Network grew with three business leaders, as Finn Jukka Härmälä (in the picture on the right) and Swedes Peter Augustsson and Björn Norrbom were invited to join the Network. Kaisa Arovaara was nominated as CFO, Jerome Bouix as Senior Partner, Lars Hagelstam, Torben von Lowzow and Hans Tindlund as Partners and Espen Stenumgård as Investment Director.
Nominations
Kaisa Arovaara, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been nominated as CFO in CapMan Plc and a member of CapMan Plc’s Management Group effective 1 October 2007. Kaisa joined CapMan in 2006 as Deputy CFO.
Jerome Bouix, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been nominated as Senior Partner. Jerome joined CapMan in 2000 and he is a member of the CapMan Plc Management Group.
Torben von Lowzow, M.Sc. (Eng.), has been appointed as Partner and a member of CapMan Plc’s Management Group effective 1 October 2007. He has twenty years of experience from the banking and finance industry in Northern Europe.
Lars Hagelstam, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been nominated as Partner. After joining CapMan in 1999 Lars has had a key role in several buyout transactions including inter alia Lumene and Staffpoint.
Hans Tindlund, M.Sc. (Eng.), MBA, has been nominated as Partner. He joined CapMan in 2004 and has played an important role in the establishment of the CapMan operations in Norway and the investments by CapMan funds in Cardinal Foods AS, InfoCare ASA and Telemark Røntgen Group.
Espen Stenumgård, M.Sc. (Econ.), has been appointed as Investment Director. Espen joined CapMan in 2006.
Norwegian Kai Jordahl, M.Sc. (Econ.), Senior Partner and Deputy Head of CapMan Buyout, Hilkka-Maija Katajisto, M.Sc. (Econ.), Group HR Director, and Martti Timgren, LL.M., Legal Counsel, are also appointed as new members of the Management Group.

CapMan Private Equity professionals The former CEO of Stora Enso
Jukka Härmälä, M.Sc. (Econ.), was invited to join CapMan’s Advisor Network as a Senior Advisor from June 2007. Jukka is one of the most influential persons of the Finnish economy. He retired from his position as CEO of Stora Enso at the end of March 2007.
Anders Holmén, M.Sc. (Econ.), joined the Technology team as Investment Manager in May. Before joining CapMan Anders has been an Investment Manager at NEFCO.
Santeri Lähdesmäki, M.Sc. (Econ.), joined CapMan Buyout as Investment Analyst as of 1 September 2007.
CapMan Real Estate professionals
Jorma Lehtonen, M.Sc. (Eng.), was appointed as CapMan Real Estate’s Fund Director and will be responsible for the investment activities of private equity real estate funds. In addition he will act as Deputy to Markku Hietala, Managing Director of Realprojekti Oy. Jorma transferred to CapMan from real estate investment company Nordisk Renting Oy.
Petri Rignell joined CapMan Real Estate as Advisor in September.
Mervi Roiha-Muilu joined CapMan Real Estate as Analyst, Real Estates in September.
Tuija Fräntilä joined CapMan Real Estate as Manager, Real Estates in October.
Industrial Advisors
Peter Augustsson, M.Sc. (Tech), a former CEO of Saab Automobile AB and ex-President and CEO of Swedish SKF Group, joined CapMan’s Nordic Advisor Network as Industrial Advisor effective from June 2007.
Björn Norrbom, BA, joined CapMan as Industrial Advisor in June 2007. Björn has worked within IT and telecom companies over the last decade.
General functions
Heidi Ahlgren, LL.M., joined Fund Administration as Compliance Officer, Legal Counsel in May 2007.
Sanna Loikkanen, BBA, joined the Fundraising, IR and Communications as the Team Assistant as of 1 September 2007.
Eija Mäkinen, Grad. of Coll. Grad., joined the Fund Administration team as Fund Administrator in the beginning of June 2007.
Jussi Paronen, M.Sc. (Econ.), joined the Fund Administration team as Fund Controller in August 2007.
