Lennart Jacobsson

Lennart Jacobsson joined CapMan in 2002 through the Swedestart acquisition. Between 2002 and 2004 he acted as the Head of CapMan Technology, and currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of CapMan Plc. Lennart has served on the boards of many Swedish and Nordic companies. Further, he is active within the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA) and formerly in the Swedish Venture Capital Association (SVCA), of which he was the Chairman between 1999 and 2001.

Lennart originally co-founded Swedestart Management in 1995. At that time he was a Partner at the Swedish private equity player Euroventures Management, which he had co-founded in 1986. From 1983 to 1986 Lennart worked as an Investment Professional at Svetab, a venture capital company within the state owned Procordia AB. Prior to that he was CFO at Östersunds Bryggeri AB, the parent company of a group of breweries. In addition, Lennart has venture capital experience from Glenwood Ventures in Menlo Park, CA and Harvest Ventures New York, NY.
